Program Overview

Sprouts Garden is a full-service produce community garden serving families and businesses in McCracken County and the surrounding areas. At Sprout Gardens, we produce organic fruits and vegetables to feed the mind, body, and souls of our guests. Sprouts Garden is open year-round and the prices of the organic produce will vary due to the season.

Here is a list of the produce we currently have in stock: Sweet Corn, green beans, purples hull peas, greens, kale, asparagus, strawberries and pine berries, and much more!

Program Objectives

The objective of Sprouts Community Garden is to create a sustainable and secure organic produce system that promotes healthy living and wellness to communities in the Western Kentucky region and beyond.

Provide fresh produce and affordable organic fruits and vegetables to local grocery stores, churches, food pantry's, families in underserved communities and businesses.
School gardening programs will allow students an opportunity to have hands-on experience growing and harvesting fresh produce.
Create healthy food options to assist in reducing the childhood obesity rate in the State of Kentucky.
